Golf Tournament
For more than 20 years the Rotary Club of Bangkok South has held an annual Charity Golf Tournament, usually some time in the first quarter of the calendar year.
Upwards of 150 players meet for brunch at the designated course venue and tee off to a shotgun start at noon. The tournament finishes around 5 pm and is followed by a buffet dinner with liberal refreshments. Other refreshments and attractions are available on the course during the day. Prizes and giveaways galore mean everyone goes away with something after a day of fun, fellowship and sometimes passable golf!
Funds are raised from:
- Player entry fees.
- Sale of mulligans and from other attractions on the course.
- Auction of quality donated items.
- Sponsorships.
Each tournament regularly raises over half a million Baht, all of which goes directly to our charity projects.
